Introduction

While migrating from another OTT platform to Muvi, you can also migrate your Mobile Apps (Android, iOS) to Muvi. That means if you already have the mobile app (Android, iOS) you can migrate your existing apps to Muvi. Once you migrate to Muvi, it will be more convenient for you to manage all your content and app via the Muvi CMS. Your users may simply get an "App update" notification and once they update the app, they will get the new Muvi-powered app to continue using your platform.

How to Migrate Your Android App

We need the following information to migrate your app.

• KeyStore file (.jks extension)
• KeyStore password
• Key Alias
• Key Password
• Admin access to the Android Developer Account

If you do not have the above details with you, then we need your Android Developer Account credentials. However, this process may take more than a week as we must create a new KeyStore file and must update the same file in the Google Play Store.

How to Migrate Your iOS App

We need the following information from you to migrate your app.

• Development Certificate (.p12 file)
• Admin access to the Apple Developer Account.

If you don't have the Development certificate (.p12 file),  then we need your Apple Developer Account credentials and the rest of the things will be taken care of by Muvi.
