Installing Through Email

Introduction

You can install Android App to your mobile device from an APK (Android Package Kit) file. There are two ways to install the APK file. Either you can install the APK file through the file browser or app installer or you can do it through your email. Before installing the APK file to your Android device you need to change the security settings. You need to enable “Install from Unknow Sources” in settings. (Go to “App Drawer” --> “Settings” --> “Security and Restrictions” in your mobile device to enable this option)

Installing Through File Browser/App Installer

• Download and store the apk file in a USB drive.
• Insert the USB drive to your device’s USB Port.
• Go to the App Installer or File Browser (Where you can view the apk file)
• Click on the apk file.
• You will get prompted to install the apk file. Click on “Install” to begin the installation.
• Wait for some time. It will show "Open" and "Done" option after the successful installation.
• Click on "Open" to open the app or you can go to "My Apps" section to open the app.

Installing Through Email

• You can also install the apk file to your Android device through your email.
• Open your email in the Android device (Mobile/Tablet).
• Open the attached apk file.
• Click on the apk file.
• You will get prompted to install the apk file. Click on “Install” to begin the installation.
• Wait for some time. It will show "Open" and "Done" option after the successful installation.
• Click on "Open" to open the app or you can go to "My Apps" section to open the app.
