How to Download the Revenue Report

    Introduction

The “Revenue Analytics” in the CMS provides you with a detailed report of the transaction histories of all successful transactions of the end-users in multiple platforms (e.g., web, mobile, and/or TV Apps). You can view the details of your revenue generated from Subscription, Pay Per View, and Voucher. You can see the revenue report of a specific period by selecting the date from the calendar. You can also easily and quickly understand the report by just looking at the graphical representation of the data. You can view the report in different currencies as well. If you wish, you can download the report easily in CSV and/or XLSX format.

How to View the Revenue Analytics

    • To view the “Revenue Analytics”, navigate to “Analytics”-->” Revenue” in the CMS.
    • Under “Currency”, select the currency in which you want to view the revenue report (if you have added multiple currencies, then you can see the currencies in the drop-down menu)
    • Select the “Date Range” for which you want to view the report (e.g., 7 Days, 30 Days, etc.).
    • Click on "More".
    • Under “Country”, select the country for which you want to view the revenue report (if your end-users are from multiple countries, then you will see the countries in the drop-down menu).
    • Under “Payment Mode”, select the payment mode (e.g., Credit Card, In-App Purchase, Mobile Payment, etc.).
    • Under “Type,” select the monetization method (e.g., Subscription, PPV, Voucher) for which you want to view the revenue report (you must have added these monetization methods to view the report).
    • Under “Platform”, select the platform (e.g., Web, Android, iOS) for which you want to view the revenue report (if you have not built your app, then you will not be able to see the apps in the drop-down menu).
    • The report will be generated, and you can view the report.
    • You can view the graphs as well as the detailed revenue report.

    Revenue Analytics Summary Table

There are separate columns in the “Revenue Analytics” summary table that show different types of transaction details.

    • Date: Shows the date of the transaction.
    • Transaction ID: It shows the payment gateway transaction ID.
    • Order ID: It shows the order ID generated automatically for the transaction.
    • User: it shows the end-user’s registered name who has done the transaction.
    • Email: It shows the email address of the end-user who has done the transaction.
    • Country: It shows the country to which the end-user belongs.
    • Type: it shows the type of monetization method selected for the transaction (e.g., Subscription, PPV, Subscription Renewal).
    • Plan Name: It shows the Subscription or PPV plan name that you have created in the CMS, and it is selected for the transaction (e.g., Premium Plan, Monthly Plan, Basic Plan, etc.).
    • Platform: It shows the platform from where the transaction has been done (e.g., Web, Android, iOS, etc,).
    • Total Price: It shows the total price of the plan added by you in the CMS (e.g., for subscription, PPV).
    • Promo Code: It shows if any promo code is applied to the transaction.
    • Amount Paid: It shows the actual amount paid by the end-users for purchasing the plan (i.e., after deducting the discount if any promo code is applied by the end-user).
    • Checkout: It shows the Payment Gateway or Carrier billing used for the transaction. For example, if you have integrated the Stripe Payment Gateway for your streaming platform, then it will show Stripe.
    • Payment Mode: It shows the mode of payment used for the transaction. For example, if the end-user has used his/her credit card, then it shows “Card”.
    • View Invoice: It shows the invoice generated for the transaction for the end-user. The end-user can view this invoice on the front end (i.e., Website, App) and download it. You, as an admin, can also view this invoice by clicking on the “Eye” icon and download it.
    • There is a “Search” option in the summary table. You can type the “End-User’s Name” or “Email” and view the transaction of a specific end-user.
