Muvi's AI Subtitle & Translation Pricing
Muvi's AI Subtitle Generation and Translation uses a simple credit-based pricing model, where 1 Alie Credit = $0.10 USD. Credits are consumed based on the duration of the media content and the number of subtitle or translation tracks processed. Visit our pricing page for more details.
Credit Consumption:
- AI Subtitle Generation:
5 credits are charged for every 1 hour of content per subtitle track generated. - AI Subtitle Translation:
10 credits are charged for every 1 hour of content per translated language.
For example, if you generate subtitles for a 2-hour video, it will consume 10 credits. If you translate those subtitles into 3 different languages, an additional 60 credits will be used (20 credits per language).
| Note: Credits are deducted only for successful subtitle generation and translation processes. No credits are consumed for failed or unsuccessful AI processing attempts. |
How to Generate Subtitles Using AI
First, upload the videos to “Assets” to generate subtitles for them (click here to know how to upload videos to the Assets). You can also generate subtitles for the already uploaded videos in the “Assets”.
- To generate subtitles, navigate to “Content Management” -->” Content Library” in the Dashboard.
- In the “Content Library”, click on “Assets”.
- Under Assets, click on the “Files” tab.
- On the right-hand side of a video (for which you want to generate the subtitle), click on the “Manage Subtitle Icon”.
- Click on “Generate with Alie”.
- You will be asked to use the Alie credits to generate the subtitle. Click on “Continue” to use the available credits to generate the subtitle. If you don’t have enough credits, you can first purchase them (from the Dashboard) and then generate the subtitles.
- The subtitle will be generated in a few minutes in the original language of the audio in the video (i.e., if the audio language in the video is English, then the subtitle will be generated in English).
- Click on the “Preview Icon” to preview the subtitle.
- You can also download the subtitle by clicking on the “Download Icon”.
- To delete the generated subtitle, click on the “Trashcan Icon”. When asked for confirmation, click on “Proceed” to delete.
