Introduction

With the Registration Form Customization feature, you can add, remove, and rearrange custom fields in the user registration form and profile page. By default, the form includes fields such as Name, Email Address, Password, and Confirm Password.

You can create additional fields like Date of Birth, Mailing Address, Phone Number, or any other field based on your business requirements to collect more relevant user information.

Enabling Customize Registration Form Option

First, you need to enable this feature to customize the registration form.

• To enable this feature, navigate to “Use Management” -->” Users” in the Dashboard.
• Under “Registration & Login”, enable “Customize Registration Form”.
• Once the feature is enabled, you can see the “Customize Registration Form” tab in the Dashboard.

Adding a New Field to the Registration Form

• To add a new field to the Registration Form, navigate to “Use Management” -->” Users” in the Dashboard.
• Click on the “Customize Registration Form” tab.
• You can see the default fields are added to the form.
• To add a new field, click on “Add Field”.
• In the pop-up, type the “Field Name” (e.g., City Name, State Name, etc.).
• The “Unique Key” will be automatically generated.
• Select the “Field Type” from the drop-down menu (e.g., Text Field, Text Area, Drop-Down, etc.).
• Select the “Value Format” from the drop-down menu (mandatory).
• You can allow “Allow special characters” (optional)
• You can select “Mark this field as mandatory” if you want to make the field mandatory (optional).
• Click on “Save”.
• To add another field, repeat the above procedure.

How the Custom Field Appears on the Front-End

On the website/app, click on the ‘Signup” button. Under “Create your account,” you can see the new custom field.

Managing the Custom Fields

You can edit, re-arrange, and delete the custom fields as per your requirement.

• To manage the Custom Fields, navigate to “Use Management” -->” Users” in the Dashboard.
• Click on the “Customize Registration Form” tab.
• Click on the “Edit Icon” on the right side of the custom field that you want to edit.
• Make the necessary changes and click on “Update”.
• To re-arrange the custom fields, you can use the drag and drop option.
• Click on “Update” to update the changes.
• To delete a field, click on the “Trashcan Icon” on the right- hand side of a field.
• When asked for confirmation, click on Proceed to delete the field.
