Cropping and Resizing Images Using Alie

You can use this feature while creating new content or existing content.

For New Content

After adding the basic content details in the first step, in the second step, click on the “Design Tab”.
Under “Poster”, under “Web”, click on the “+” icon to upload the poster or thumbnail for the content.
In the pop-up window, select the option “Crop and Resize across platforms with Alie”.
Select an image from your computer or select it from the assets.
Select a specific section in the image to crop.
Click on “Upload”.
Alie will automatically create the poster images for “Mobile” and “TV” apps and upload them.
Under “Banner”, under “Web”, click on the “+” icon to upload the banner for the content.
In the pop-up window, select the option “Crop and Resize across platforms with Alie”.
Select an image from your computer or select it from the assets.
Click on “Upload”.
Alie will automatically create the banner images for “Mobile” and “TV” apps and upload them.
Click on “Save and Publish” to save the poster and banner images.

For Existing Content

In the “Content Library”, click on the “Edit Icon” to edit the content for which you want to add a poster/banner.
In the content edit page, click on the “Design Tab”.
Under “Poster”, under “Web” click on the “+” icon to upload the poster or thumbnail for the content.
In the pop-up window, select the option “Crop and Resize across platforms with Alie”.
Select an image from your computer or select it from the assets.
Select a specific section in the image to crop.
Click on “Upload”.
