How to Add an Audio Encoding Profile

You can add multiple audio encoding profiles. Select from multiple “Output Bitrates” and "Output Formats". You can also enable DRM for the audio content.

To add an audio encoding profile, click on "Encoding” in the CMS.
Type a profile name (e.g., Encoding Profile for Songs, DRM Encoding Profile, etc.).
Select the “Source Type" Audio.
Select "Skip Encoding" if you want to skip the encoding process.
Select the "Compression" to "Default" or "Lossless". (If you select Lossless, the output format will be "FLAC").
Select DRM (Digital Rights Management). If you select “DRM”, the video will be encoded with DRM. To learn more about DRM features, click here. You can also skip the DRM option.
Select the “Output Format” to "MPEG DASH" and/or "HLS". You can only select these output formats when DRM is enabled.
If DRM is not selected, only the "MP3" output format is selected by default.
Select the “Output Bitrates” (i.e.,128, 192, 320), etc.) You can select multiple resolutions. The audio file will be encoded and stored in the bitrate you choose. To learn more about encoding resolutions, click here.
Click on “Save”. You can create multiple profiles. Select the audio encoding profile while creating the audio content.
Once the encoding profile is created, you can make it a default profile by clicking on the "Star Icon".
You can edit the profile by clicking on the "Edit Icon" on the right-hand side of the profile.
You can delete the profile by clicking on the "Trashcan Icon" on the right-hand side of the profile.
