Enabling User-Generated Content Feature
How End-Users Can Upload Content
Approve/Reject User-Generated Content
The User Generated Content or UGC feature allows your end-users to upload their content to your website/app. Users can add content, upload videos, edit content, or delete the content from the front end. Whereas, in the CMS you (admin) can “Approve the Content”, "Reject" the content, and edit and/or delete the content that has been uploaded by the end-users. Once the content is uploaded by the end user, the monetization methods configured in the CMS by the store admin will be automatically applied to the end user’s content by default.
Note:
|
Note: The poster (thumbnail) for the content will be automatically added. The poster will be randomly selected from the screenshots captured from the video uploaded by the end user. The admin can also change the poster image from the CMS through the content edit option. |
If the admin has enabled the “Review content before publish” option in the CMS, then the content added by the end-user will not get published immediately on the front end. The content will be in the “Pending Approval” stage. It will be get published on the front end once the admin approves it in the CMS. If the admin doesn’t want to publish the content, then the admin can reject it from the CMS.
