How to Host & Monetize Online Meetings on Muvi

Introduction

You can host your Zoom, Google Meet, or Microsoft Teams online meetings on Muvi One. By adding online meetings as content on your website/app, you can easily monetize the meeting sessions by using Muvi’s wide range of monetization models (i.e. subscription, Pay Per View, Credit, Vouchers, etc) and 25 plus payment gateways and carrier billings. Your end-users need to pay for a meeting session to join it. Muvi One also offers custom integration through the API and Webhooks.

Note:

First, you need to add a Support Ticket to enable this feature for your store.
At present, this feature is not available for the Free Trial users.

How to Enable Meeting Settings

Once the third-party meeting feature is enabled, you need to enable the “Meeting Settings” in the CMS.

To enable the meeting settings, navigate to “Manage Content” -->” Settings” in the CMS.
Scroll down to “Meeting Settings” and select the checkbox “Enable”.
Click on “Save” to save the settings.

How to Add a Meeting

Once the Meeting Setting is enabled, you can add a meeting. Before adding a meeting in the CMS, you need to schedule that meeting in Zoom.

To add the meeting, navigate to “Manage Content”-->” Content Library” in the CMS.
Click on “Add Content”.
In the Content Forms, select “Meeting Session”.
Type the “Meeting Topic” (e.g. Team Meeting, Company Meeting, Annual Meeting, etc.).
“Permalink” will be automatically generated (you can edit the permalink).
Select the “Start Date and Time” from the calendar (optional).
Select the “Time Zone” from the drop-down.
Select the “Duration” of the meeting (in HH: MM) (optional)
Type the “Meeting Title” which you have added in Zoom.
Paste the “*Meeting Join URL” (copied from Zoom).
Paste the “Meeting Host URL” (copied from Zoom).
Paste the “*Meeting ID” (copied from the Zoom).
Paste the “Meeting Password” (copied from Zoom).
Select the “Content Category” from the drop-down (Mandatory)
Type the Search Tags followed by “#”. You can add a maximum of 5 search tags. These search tags will help your end-users to find the content easily on your website/app.
Click on “Browse” to browse and upload a poster for the meeting.
Click on “Save and Continue” to save the meeting.
Click on “Upload Banner” to upload a top banner for the meeting.
Click on “Add New Cast” to add the participants, host of the meeting,

*Note: Please make sure to add the "Meeting Join URL" & "Meeting ID" in the meeting content. If any of these two values missing in the content, then PPV monetization will not show in both the CMS content listing as well as on the front-end content details page.
