Introduction

Muvi Minis feature allows your end-users to upload short videos (like TikTok, and Instagram Reels) to your video streaming platform from their mobile devices (Android and/or iOS). The end-users can scroll and watch the short videos on their mobile devices like TikTok and Instagram Reels. They can even like, share, and comment on the videos. End-users can also create quizzes for each video they upload and allow the viewers to participate in the quiz.

How to Enable Muvi Minis

Muvi Minis is an extension of the UGC (User Generated Content) feature. First, you need to enable it from the Muvi One CMS.

• To enable Muvi Minis, navigate to “Manage Content” -->” Settings” in the CMS.
• Scroll down to “User Generated Contents (UGC)”.
• Select the checkbox for “Enable Minis”.
• Type the maximum video length that the end-users can upload (i.e., 30 Seconds, 60 Seconds, etc.).
• You can also select “Enable Quiz” if you want the end-users to create a quiz for each video they upload.
• Scroll down and click on “Save”.

How End-Users Can Upload Video Clips to Muvi Minis

The end-users can upload video clips from their mobile devices. First, they must log in to your mobile app and then they can upload the videos.

• To add a video clip to Minis, click on the left-hand side menu.
• Click on “My Uploads”.
• Under “My Uploads” click on “Minis”.
• Click on “New Mini”.
• Click on “Browse Video”.
• Select a video clip from the device and click on “Done”.
• Click on “Save and Continue”.
• Type a “Title” for the video clip.
• Type a short description of the video clip.
• Select a “Category” from the drop-down.
• If you have enabled “Quiz”, then create a quiz about the video clip.
• Click on “Add Quiz”.
• Type a question and add multiple answers. You can select the correct answer for the question.
• Click on “Publish”. The video clip will be published.

How End-Users Can View Minis

Once the end-users log in to your mobile app, they can click on the category you have created for the Minis and enjoy the video clips. The end-users can scroll the videos on Minis just like TikTok, and Instagram.
