Their computer acts as if it’s on the same local network as the VPN server. For instance, if someone in Australia connect to a VPN in the UK, web servers will get an impression that he/she is browsing from UK. So, the user can easily access the content that is Geo-blocked for Australia.

Restricting VPN Usage

You can restrict any user who is using VPN services to access your Geo-blocked content. You can block the VPN servers by subscribing to any third-party VPN blocking service (For example, Maxmind). After getting the subscription from the third-party VPN blocking service provider, you need to add a support ticket to integrate your website for VPN blocking.
