While selecting the "Rating" for your iOS App in the CMS, you should be very careful, as Apple will review your iOS app based on these ratings and then will decide whether to publish it or not in the iTunes App store. Based on your rating for the content type, Apple will publish your app in a separate segment. (For Example, if your app contains sexual or violent content, then it will be published under Adult App category in the iTunes store). If you will mention in the rating that your App doesn’t contain any adult content, but you have adult content in it, then Apple will reject your app after reviewing it.
When you are selecting rating for your App in the CMS, you have 3 options including “None”, “Infrequent/Mild”, “Infrequent/Intense”. Select the correct option for each content type.
For example, for “Sexual Content or Nudity” content type you can select “None”, “Infrequent/Mild” or “Infrequent/Intense”.
Similarly, select the rating for other content types. For more information on iOS App ratings please Click Here.
